AFC Championship Preview: Bills vs. Chiefs

by | Jan 24, 2025 | NFL, Stuff About Sports

Alright, folks, Jerm here, and let’s talk about this Bills-Chiefs matchup. Because if there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s coaches getting too cute and messing up a sure thing.

McDermott’s Questionable Play Calling

I’m looking at you, Sean McDermott. Third and goal, two yards out, and you put Josh Allen in the shotgun? Are you kidding me? Josh is 6’7″! You run that “tush push” every single time in that situation. It works! But no, McDermott gets cute with a draw play, and we end up settling for a field goal. Unbelievable.

Bills Need to Play Perfect Football

Look, the Bills already beat the Chiefs this season. But this is the playoffs, and it’s a whole different ball game. The Chiefs have won 11 straight games decided by one score. You cannot let them hang around. If you get a lead, you need to step on their throats and keep scoring.

Travis Kelce: The Ageless Wonder

And speaking of the Chiefs, how is Travis Kelce still wide open every single game? The dude is like 137 years old, and he’s still running free in the middle of the field. Someone needs to put a spy on him! Mirror his every move! He’s the only thing they’ve got on offense.

The Pressure is On

The Bills have a real shot at winning this game. They’re healthy, they’re playing loose, and they’re the better team on paper. But the pressure is on. They’re 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs, and Josh Allen needs to prove he can win the big one.

Can the Bills Handle the Heat?

This is the biggest test of Josh Allen’s career. He needs to silence the doubters and lead the Bills to victory. If they can’t beat this Chiefs team, then it’s time for some serious changes in Buffalo.

Final Prediction: Bills by a Hair

I’m cautiously optimistic. I think the Bills can win this game, but it’s going to be close. They need to play perfect football, avoid stupid penalties, and keep Travis Kelce in check. If they can do that, then they’ll be on their way to the Super Bowl.

Go Bills! (But don’t let me down.)
